A 2014 kart racing game in the Mario Kart series developed and released by Nintendo for the Wii U in May 2014. It introduced anti-gravity driving on walls and ceilings and allows players to bump into each other for a brief boost.

An enhanced version for the Nintendo Switch titled Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was released in April 2017. And throughout 2022 and 2023, an entire Mario Kart's worth of courses were added to Deluxe through the Booster Course Pass.
